Research Group Algorithms

The research group Algorithms is concerned with the theoretical research and development of efficient methods for solving complex problems. Besides algorithm development, the focus is on analysing the complexity (runtime and memory requirements) and correctness of algorithms, as well as developing new algorithmic concepts. The central topics include parameterised complexity and algorithmics, enumeration algorithms and logic-based approaches. The aim is to explore fundamental principles and innovative approaches that advance the understanding and further development of algorithmics.
